My first purchase from elyse was an ebay item which was beautifully made & truly the best thing I've bought on ebay. Elyse Marino, born June 30th, 1978, was raised in the congested state of INSANITY... err... New Jersey. With a strong inclination towards music & the arts, Elyse excelled throughout her schooling in these areas. In 1998, while studying Music Theory & Fine Arts at the esteemed Mason Gross School of Arts at Rutgers Universirty, she began sewing dresses by hand. Eventually, with the help of her birthday and mother's generosity, a designer was born with a new basic Singer Sewing Machine. In the first several months of designing, she gifted many friends & relatives with handmade items. Subsequently, she took her skill on the road, vending at countless fesivals, concerts & street fairs.
Elyse moved to beautiful California in 2001. She continued her art by creating original handbags of all shapes & sizes. Selling at stores and fairs in the area, She enjoyed success. However, she ceased this avenue due to detesting the commercial retail market. She enjoys conversing with her customers directly. Upgrading her equipment, Elyse now employs a Pfaff Expressions Sewing Machine & a Baby Lock Imagine four-thread serger. She takes great pride in her work & infuses her soul into every creation. She knows that you'll enjoy your unique piece of wearable art for years to come as much as she enjoyed creating it. |
